I have given Rockball 2 a new update... and it adds the most gruesome feature of all time... HELL MODE.

Hell Mode was a concept that was conjured up as I was talking to some buddies on Discord about the game while it was in development. Hell Mode is a revision of the original 10 levels from this game, but made to be MUCH harder. I originally intended to add the feature during initial development of the game, but didn't think it would be a good idea for whatever reason.

Of course, with time, my mind slowly changed into wanted to add that feature. It felt like a piece of a jigsaw puzzle in my mind, put away from the rest of the mostly-complete puzzle that had launched here a few months ago. So I made it. Enjoy.

This update also contains a complete rework of Level 6 (previously the weird ice maze). It is now more of an icy path you must follow while avoiding ice beams! And yes, this new level has a Hell Mode version too. (New level pictured in this devlog). I'll be honest, when this game first launched, I disliked the original L6. In a game about platforming, to go to a weird maze level? It didn't really sit well with me, at least not in it's form at the time. I decided to change it to a full on platforming level, which I feel better suits the game.
